Bio

Lots of things have happened with Sullivan and Janszen over our many years...here are the basics:

During the early 90's, Jay Janszen and Brian Sullivan performed as an acoustic duo (Sullivan and Janszen) throughout the Midwest region (mostly Cincinnati) and became the house band at the Blue Note (every Wednesday night!) and Millions (every Saturday night.) During the duo years we also played Flanagan's, Salamone's, The Crow's Nest, Arlin's, Hooligan's Pub, Covington Landing, Strauss Haus, Chilly's, Longworth's, Mt. Adams Pavillion and others.

During that time we tested out several bass players and drummers. We finally found the right balance of great playing and vocals when we added Jeff Vance (bass). Soon after we found Kurt Rosnell (drums) and the Sullivan Janszen Band was a full band.

Performing off and on through the 90's we added Greg Williams (yes that guy) on keys late in 2005. We now play in various setups: Duo, Trio, Full Band (either electric or unplugged.) We currently are booking and playing clubs and festivals (as well as private parties and corporate events) around the Midwest.
